Lucky Portsmouth fans were able to watch the Lincoln game on Tuesday with a free home-delivered pie courtesy of official partners VBET.
VBET, who in December 2020 signed a three-year contract with Pompey, teamed up with Pie & Vinyl in Southsea to deliver the pies to residents of Portsea Island following a social media promotion.
VBET also sent winning supporters a free iFollow pass for the Lincoln match and an exclusive scarf carrying the club’s crest and colours.
Using the hashtag #PompeyVBETPies, supporters were asked to reply to VBET’s Twitter posts by showing their love for Portsmouth in the most creative way possible.
VBET selected the best replies before sending the winning fans the home-delivered goody bags.

Artur Manasaryan, VBET UK regional director, said:
“With Pompey fans unable to attend Fratton Park, we felt this was a nice way to get supporters into the matchday spirit from the comfort of their own sofas.
“It was great to provide the scarves and the free stream for the Lincoln game, but no football match is complete without a pie.
Now that’s how you do a promotional marketing campaign. Great little delivery from @vbet_uk and @pieandvinyl Cheers! #Pompey #Pies #Portsmouth #WhoAteAllThePies #Footy #LeagueOne #UpTheBlues pic.twitter.com/NBv52c9mPj

“That local company Pie & Vinyl agreed to bring their culinary expertise to #PompeyVBETPies made the promotion even more satisfying.
“One of VBET’s core beliefs, which we share with our new partners, is a pledge to always put supporters and the local community first.
“Fans can expect many more exciting promotions in the months and years to come, but we hope our free pie-and-scarf campaign highlighted our commitment in giving something back to the Portsmouth family.”
Cheers guys! Need a result tonight now! pic.twitter.com/cbe8veaRjv
