Police want Manchester United's Premier League clash against Sheffield United moved to neutral venue

Police have recommended Manchester United's Premier League clash against Sheffield United to be played at a neutral venue, according to reports this morning. The league games will restart on the planned date of June 17. However, the 20 clubs will also meet in order to finally decide where the games should take place. Though it was originally suggested that all of them should be played at neutral venues, some clubs wanted to get the chance of playing at home stadiums. This morning, the Press Association have reported that up to six Premier League matches in the 2019/20 season are to be played at neutral venues at the request of police. PA claims deputy chief constable Mark Roberts has revealed the games police have recommended to be moved are Manchester City v Liverpool, Manchester City v Newcastle, Manchester United v Sheffield United, Newcastle v Liverpool, Everton v Liverpool and the game in which Liverpool could secure the Premier League title.
