POG-BYE: Manchester United to sell Paul Pogba and fund £200million

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has made it clear he wants the Red Devils to bring in more big players if they are to compete with Champions-elect Manchester City next season. To fund spending the Red Devils need to sell Paul Pogba who broke the world transfer record when United spent £89m on him in 2016. Real Madrid would be among the favourites to move for the Frenchman. Possible defensive options for Mourinho are Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane and PSG centre-back Marquinhoss. United are also eyeing Juventus left-back Alex Sandro as an option to replace Luke Shaw in the summer.
