Matt Doherty's transfer from Wolverhampton Wanderers to Tottenham Hotspur came as a shock to many. The move has even shocked some Spurs fans after evidence of Doherty's allegiance to arch-rivals Arsenal was dug up. In fairness, Doherty has since played his part in correcting that by starring in an amusing video where he deletes the tweets in question. Upon completing the move, Doherty said: "I'm extremely happy. I'm very proud to be joining such a big club. With the size of the club and the manager, once I knew there was interest it was a no-brainer for me to get myself down to London." However, Piers Morgan has taken exception to Doherty's move to Spurs and aimed a dig at the defender. "He certainly used no brains in making the decision," said Morgan. Doherty will play in his first north London derby in early December before making an emotional return to Molineux on Boxing Day.
