Tottenham Hotspur fan Averof Panteli, who hurled fruit onto the turf at the Emirates Stadium after Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a goal(4-2), has been found guilty of throwing a banana skin.
The 57-year-old fan was handed a four-year football banning order after pleading guilty to throwing a missile. He was also fined £500, which includes a £100 uplift for the racial element, and told to pay £135 in costs.
Aubameyang took to Instagram to express his dismay at the lenient terms of Pantelli's punishment.
He shared a screengrab of the headline on his Instagram story, before simply posting: "4 years and we start again."
