Phil Hay delivers Leeds United January transfer update

The Athletic journalist Phil Hay has discussed Leeds United transfer plans for January following the Whites' shock defeat to Crawley Town in the FA Cup third round. Leeds suffered a 3-0 defeat to Crawley on Sunday in the FA Cup and were eliminated from the tournament. Now, Marcelo Bielsa's side will prepare to face Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday, January 16. Currently, the Whites are 12th in the league table with 10 points behind the leaders Liverpool. In one of his latest articles for The Athletic, Phil Hay said: “The club’s position in the table is so healthy that Sunday’s events are not expected to alter their attitude towards this transfer window. Leeds do not envisage any significant arrivals and most of their business will revolve around loan bids for their youngsters.” source - footballtransfertavern.com
