Jermaine Pennant thinks Tammy Abraham would benefit from making a move to Arsenal this summer.
Chelsea man has been recently linked with the move to the Emirates Stadium, after finding his playing time limited at Stamford Bridge under Thomas Tuchel.
The Blues value their young man at £40 million, though a compromise could be reached, with Gunners ready to sign him on loan with an obligation-to-buy.
“That would be a good move,” said Pennant.
“Tuchel is not a fan of him. I’ve heard people talk about being patient and fighting for your place but it’s difficult.
“If a manager is not interested, you have to move on. A team like Arsenal, he wouldn’t have to go far for his family. It’s a perfect move.
“He’s something Arsenal need. He’s English, he’s young, the price is always a little bit more anyway for English pedigree
“I think it’s a good signing. Arsenal would be a perfect fit.”
