Pep Guardiola has yet again spoken out on the title race against Liverpool
Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has spoken out on the title race his team had with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool during 2018/19 campaign.
At some point Merseyside club had a 7 point advantage, but Guardiola’s team managed to overtake them and keep the first place until the end of the season to leave Liverpool with a record of most points set by runners-up.
“There are situations that are unpredictable and uncontrollable. I’ve won many prizes for that one inch,” Guardiola told Manchester City official website.
“Everybody was convinced that the only chance is to win the title is to win every single game.
“The fact that we played most of the games after Liverpool. We knew it, not just managers, everybody knew it. So, win or we are out.” Catalan has added.
