Pep Guardiola provides injury update on Ilkay Gundogan ahead of Arsenal clash

Pep Guardiola has confirmed Ilkay Gundogan should be available for the weekend’s trip to Arsenal. Citizens are set to face Gunners in the Premier League on Sunday, while ahead of the match, Guardiola has given an injury update on Gundogan. The latter had to miss Everton clash, after feeling a slight groin strain in the 3-0 win over Tottenham. “He is much, much better, better,” Guardiola told City's official site. “It is not a big issue, but to avoid risk today, we have given him a few more days to recover. “But for Arsenal and Borussia Monchengladbach he should be ready.
