Pep Guardiola open to coaching in Serie A

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly open to coaching in Serie A once his tenure at Etihad ends and he has highlighted Juventus as his club of choice. According to The Athletic, the Catalan specialist is keen on going to Juventus, but not until his deal at City expires. Guardiola met with Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved in March before their Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid. Nedved is said to have offered him the chance to succeed Massimiliano Allegri at the Allianz Stadium, and although the 48-year-old rejected their advances, he apparently told the former Czech international that he would be open to working on the peninsula in the future. Guardiola’s current deal expires at the end of the next season.
