Pep Guardiola makes strong Premier League title prediction for Liverpool and Manchester City

Pep Guardiola can predict the 2022 Premier League title winners finishing on over 90 points, given the strength of the teams this season. Both Manchester City and Liverpool are big contenders to win the English top flight this season, as they are currently leading the standings. And City boss Guardiola believes the winning team should gain at least 90 points.

"The champions will have to win a lot of games for sure," he said. "90 [points] or over.   "Last year had Covid and was without people, it was a tough year for all the clubs. Sometimes there were consequences to drop some points and we won the league quite comfortably at the end.   "With the runs we have done, we never thought at the start what we would do. We won the last games in the Premier League, what's next is Wolves. They are close to the top of the league right now. It's this one, then after that on Tuesday it is Leeds and don't think about anything other than that.   "It is confusing to think about long runs because when you start to think about that you are going to drop points and games."
