Pep Guardiola gives Manchester City warring over Aymeric Laporte return

Pep Guardiola has warned Manchester City that they must improve without Aymeric Laporte. Laporte suffered no ill-effects from returning to training with the squad after his long-term injury. The player is expected to play again in the next week or so. “They didn’t need much to score goals and we have to improve. We cannot expect that Aymeric is going to solve all of the problems,” said Guardiola. “We have to be as a principle for everyone. He is getting better and the doctor is going to evaluate him in the training session and I am going to talk to him about when it will be possible and step by step to come in.
