Manchester City celebrated
a 2-0 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Bernardo Silva opened the scoring already in the 12th minute of the clash and Kevin De Bruyne doubled Cityzens’ lead in the second-half.
However, when manager Pep Guardiola congratulated Silva after the final whistle, the midfielder looked unhappy about something.
He pointed towards the Burnley goal as Guardiola tried to congratulate him for another man of the match display.
After the game City boss explaned that the Portugal international was upset because he wanted to set up a teammate rather than grab the glory for himself when he should have taken the shot.
“Bernardo is an incredible person and he scored and was like ‘I scored a goal, I am going to give another one for my mate’.
“He is so generous in the effort the way he plays. He has to shoot, he knows it.
“We are incredibly lucky to have him. Only I want is his happiness. This type of person deserves the best.
“It is a joy as a manager to have him with us. He is in his top level right now.”
