Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed seven players could miss the Wycombe clash on Tuesday.
The Citizens face an injury crisis ahead of the club's EFL Cup match, while at the weekend they will have another test in the Premier League, facing one of the main title contenders Chelsea.
“John [Stones], Aymeric [Laporte], Oleks [Zinchenko], Rodri - I think [Ilkay] Gundogan - all injured," Guardiola
said ahead of Wycombe game.
"Ruben [Dias] played all the minutes so far and Joao [Cancelo] played all the minutes, too, so I don’t think they will be able to play [vs Wycombe].”
Then the City boss added:
"I don't have any alternative… we are going to play a few young players."
"It's a good opportunity for the academy - that's why they are there."
