Pep Guardiola assesses Manchester City title chances

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola reckons his side would be crazy to start thinking about winning the title. City beat Burnley with a 4-1 score to close Liverpool’s led over them to eight points, with the Reds facing Everton at Anfield on Wednesday night. “The title is over? Nobody gives us a chance,” he said. “I don’t believe it - the next game, we played like we tried. I’m glad we passed more than usual, we had no regrets. We are built to have the ball and pass. We had the control of the game, we had the transitions.” But Guardiola hinted that the Blues are getting back to their old selves. “Our team is stable and that’s what we want,” he said. “For the distance, we have with Liverpool it would be crazy to think about the title - we have to think about the derby, the other competitions, and take this rhythm. It was a good result, we are so satisfied with the way we played and the way we’ve played in the last games. The way we played against Chelsea the rest of the game we’ve played at a good level, we played again good, now train a bit and prepare for the derby.” Source- MEN Join Us on Facebook!
