Pep Guardiola has given a pre-match press conference earlier today, ahead of the Liverpool clash.
Speaking on today's interview, Guardiola has noted that Jurgen Klopp 'has helped him' a lot in his managerial career.
"He helped me, his teams helped me to be a better manager. Give me another level to think, prove myself, what I have to do to be a better manager with our teams to try and beat them," said the Catalan head coach.
The City boss also admitted that this competition is what makes him remain in this business.
"It's the reason why I'm still in this business."
"There are some managers, Jurgen [Klopp] is one. Here we have many years, many competitions together. Every game was nice, both teams have the same idea, to score in different ways. Quicker than us, but in the same way to win the games."
Manchester City are set to visit Anfield on Sunday to play their 8th fixture of Premier League.
