Paul Scholes predicts where Liverpool are going to finish

  Former Manchester United star Paul Scholes is backing Liverpool to retain their Premier League title this season. The Reds are currently second in the league table with the same amount of points as first-placed Tottenham. Jurgen Klopp's side celebrated a 4-0 victory over Wolves on Sunday as Mohamed Salah, Georginio Wijnaldum, Joel Matip got their names on the score sheet while Nelson Semedo scored an own goal. “It took a long time for Liverpool to achieve what they did last year," Scholes said when speaking to Amazon Sport, as quoted by the Daily Mail. “Great credit to them, they were fantastic, they deserved it. “It was a shame for them that the fans weren’t involved. I’m sure there would have been week-long celebrations, parades, there would have been all sorts.
