Paul Scholes makes BOLD claim about Liverpool’s 2019/20 season

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says Liverpool’s season is just phenomenal, and there is now another choice but to accept the fact.  Merseyside club have won 24 of their 25 Premier League matches and are just 6 wins away from their first title in 30 years.  "Liverpool obviously will be champions of the Premier League, but they would be champions in Spain, champions in Italy, champions in Germany. They would be champions everywhere after 23 games, 22 victories, one draw.” Scholes said (via Daily Mirror) "Liverpool are just fantastic, phenomenal, overwhelming. So we have to accept it and learn from that." However, Scholes believes Jurgen Klopp’s team is more about the result rather than the beauty of the football itself.  Former England national team midfielder has compared this Liverpool team with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at their peak.  "No, I don't think they are. I still think Pep's team will always play better football. Liverpool's team just get the job done." Scholes added.  Liverpool will face Norwich City on Saturday before travelling to Madrid to play against Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
