Paul Pogba reveals why he changed penalty run-up in Manchester United’s win over West Ham

Paul Pogba saved Manchester United from Humiliation against West Ham as he struck twice from penalty spot. The Frenchman twice beat Lukasz Fabianski from 12 yards to ensure the Red Devils emerged with a huge three points after a lacklustre performance. Pogba revealed he made a conscious decision to change his long, controversial run-up and focus on simply putting the ball in the back of the net. He also revealed that he perhaps tricked the Hammers keeper in their battle of mind games as he hit the back of the net in the first half and again 10 minutes from time. "Because what matters is to put the ball inside (the goal)," Pogba told Sky Sports when asked why he changed his penalty run-up. "Maybe I tricked him (the goalkeeper) today!" "The most important is the three points and the win today," Pogba declared. "We had the luck today. You always have to take it. "Sometimes it is not for us, it is for the other team. "Today we had it so we took it." The win moved United above Arsenal and into fifth in the table, with the Gunners in action at Watford on Monday night.
