Paul Pogba has revealed why Jose Mourinho was sacked

Jose Mourinho was sacked by Manchester United few months ago after a disappointing start to the season. Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that player power was not behind Jose Mourinho's sacking. The France international fell out with Mourinho early in the season, and was stripped of the vice-captaincy at Old Trafford. The tension between the 26-year-old, some of his teammates and Mourinho was largely reckoned to be one of the main reasons behind United's struggles and ultimately the departure of the ex-Chelsea boss. However, Paul Pogba has dismissed the rumors. "What were the issues? We were not winning," said Pogba. "That's why they decided to change the head coach. "The results matter the most. If we were winning, we would have good results and the coach would have remained at his position. That's all."
