Paul Pogba to Barcelona seems closer after Jose Mourinho’s shocking announcement
Paul Pogba is linked with a possible move from Manchester United as Barcelona and Juventus are interested in World Cup champion.
Barcelona have sold Andres Iniesta and Paulinho and there’s noone to help Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets, as Andre Gomes will reportedly leave Catalan club.
According to Spanish reports, Lionel Messi personally asked Barcelona chiefs to sign Pogba, while Jose Mourinho’s shocking announcement can make the deal possible.
When asked about the captain of Manchester United, Mourinho said: "If Valencia plays then he is the captain. If not, it could be Smalling, Young, Herrera or Mata" (via The Sun)
He didn’t even mention Pogba, which means he might not be against the transfer of Frenchman, as the club have already signed Fred for center of the midfield as a partner for Nemanja Matic.
