Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming clash between Manchester United and Fulham.
Following the latest 4 - 1 victory over Chelsea, the Red Devils booked their place in the next season's Champions League. As for The Cottagers, they are currently 10th on the Premier League table with 52 points.
The meeting of the two clubs will be the final league clash of the ongoing campaign for them as United host Marco Silva's side at their home, Old Trafford.
Ahead of the upcoming clash, Merson has shared his thoughts. Despite the latest win over the Blues, the pundit expects Erik ten Hag's side to be the losing side on Sunday. He believes the United manager will give his key players rest after securing the spot in the top European tournament.
"I can see Erik ten Hag resting a handful of key players for this one, which could make Marco Silva's side favorites," Merson said, via Sportskeeda.
"Fulham have surprised me this season and they have players who can hurt Manchester United's backline, so I think they could record a famous win at Old Trafford to cap off what has been a successful return to the top flight."
