Paul Merson on who should win manager of the year between Wilder and Klopp

Paul Merson has shared his opinion on who should win manager of the year between Sheffield United coach Chris Wilder and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. Chris Wilder has been Sheffield United's coach since 2016. During this season, Sheffield United was among the clubs that have been promoted to the Premier League. Wilder's side are currently 5th in the Premier League table with 39 points. While Jurgen Klopp's side have been unbeaten in the Premier League as they are currently leading the league table with 22-points ahead of second-placed Manchester City. "Sheffield United are in there. What I like about them, everywhere they go they have a go - I saw them take the game to Tottenham, they do it to everyone they've played. If they get into Europe, they deserve it. I know what Jurgen Klopp's done this season, and no disrespect to him but he's got special players," Merson wrote on Sky Sports. "If Chris Wilder gets Sheffield United into Europe, he deserves Manager of the Year for me. You've got to work out what you're working with, and they were one of the favourites to get relegated - but at the moment, phenomenal." source - Sky Sports
