Patrick Vieira in 'advanced talks' over new job as Mikel Arteta leads race

Nice are in talks with New York City FC manager and Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira to replace Luciien Favre, according to France Football. Favre is expected to be unveiled as the new head coach of Borussia Dortmund. Patrick Vieira has been linked with Arsenal prior to the emergence of Mikel Arteta as the front-runner for the job. Saint-Etienne and Rennes have also been in touch. Other reports have linked Vieira to Nantes following the departure of former Chelsea and Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri at the end of the season.
