Ornstein updates on Arsenal’s January transfer plans and Aaron Ramsey’s future

BBC Journalist David Ornstein has provided fresh updates on Aaron Ramsey’s future and Arsenal’s transfer plans. According to Ornstein, there will be now big-money arrivals at the Emirates Stadium next month. “The club’s board ‘have little money to spend’, with loan additions seemingly the only realistic possibility. A ‘bigger budget’ is expected to be available in the summer, though,” Ornstein claims. Ornstein has also revealed the latest on the future of Aaron Ramsey. Ornstein said on BBC5: “From a footballing point of view, Unai Emery decided, having had time to analyse Ramsey's performance and how Ramsey fits into his vision of how Arsenal will play--and I'm told that vision is unwavering--he didn't feel Aaron was perfect for him.” Ornstein also said that members of Arsenal’s hierarchy regretted that Özil contract and don’t want to repeat similar mistake with Aaron Ramsey, whose financial demands are close to what Henrikh Mkhitaryan is getting paid.
