"Only Everton have more": Stan Collymore reacts to Aston Villa surviving relegation

Aston Villa earned the point they needed on the final day, with the 1-1 draw vs West Ham enough to secure their Premier League status. Jack Grealish opened the scoring late on for Villa, who needed to draw the game thanks to Bournemouth's victory at Everton. However, The Hammers responded almost immediately to equalise to keep Dean Smith's side fighting. Following the game, Stan Collymore expressed his delight on Twitter after Aston Villa survived relegation. The former striker pointed out that Villa will now play their 107th season in England’s top-flight, and how only Everton have ‘more’. "We take our place for a 107th season, at the top table of English football on September 12th. Only Everton have more. Only Arsenal and Liverpool are fellow centurions. We're Aston Villa, and we'll come again," he wrote.
