Olympiakos drop hint over Wolves transfer target Daniel Podence

Wolverhampton Wanderers target Daniel Podence has been left out of Olympiakos’ squad for their upcoming clash. Olympiakos are set to face OFI Crete in the Greek Super League on Wednesday afternoon willing to extend their unbeaten start to the season. Olympiakos head coach Pedro Martins will be without his star attacker Podence after the club confirmed its squad list for the match. Podence has only featured once for Olympiakos this month amidst plenty of speculation about his future. Reports have emerged from Greece overnight suggesting Wolves have now agreed a deal to sign the 24-year-old from the Greek side. The transfer fee is reportedly £21million, which would make Podence Olympiakos’ record sale and put him second behind Raul Jimenez on Wolves’ list of biggest buys. Nuno Espirito Santo wants to add to their squad during this window and the club are hopeful of securing a deal for Podence. Ecuador striker Leonardo Compana is also on the edge of a move to Molineux, while Portuguese forward Nelson Oliveira is a target. Source- Birmingham Live
