Olivier Giroud, Thiago Silva and Thomas Tuchel sign contract extension at Chelsea

  Olivier Giroud as well as Thiago Silva and Thomas Tuchel have signed contract extensions with Chelsea. Giroud and Silva have signed an extension for another year, while Tuchel will stay with the Blues until June 2024, the club have confirmed.

    Giroud joined Chelsea in 2018 and his contract was set to expire at the end of June 2021. During this season he has made 31 appearances in which he has scored 11 goals. While Silva, who joined the Blues in 2020, made 34 appearances in which he scored two goals.
