Olivier Giroud reveals what he's heard on Mikel Arteta's Arsenal management

Olivier Giroud has revealed what he knows about Mikel Arteta and his management at Arsenal. The Frenchman was sold to Chelsea back in 2018 almost two years before the Spaniard was appointed as Gunners boss. But they both know each other from their playing days and while Giroud has never played under the Gunners gaffer, he says he’s heard good things about his management. Speaking on The Athletic’s YouTube channel, AC Milan star Giroud said:

“One good thing is that he has time to improve and install his ideas. It hurts sometimes to see Arsenal in this position, because when I was there we were close to the top four.   "I think Mikel is a good manager but maybe he needs more support. I’ve heard good things about him. The problem is, you need time but also money — this is a huge part of success."
