Olivier Giroud opens up on his future at Chelsea

Olivier Giroud has revealed he must move over the disappointment concerning his Chelsea exit in January and now is fully focused on getting into France's Euro 2020 squad. The 33-year-old was linked with the move from the Blues, with the club boss Frank Lampard telling he could leave the club should he get a right offer last month. However, the Frenchman stayed at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea failed to sign any replacements, including Napoli's Dries Mertens and Lyon's Moussa Dembele. Giroud made his first appearance since November during Manchester United clash last night. He scored his Premier League goal of the season, which was disallowed after the VAR check, with the player's foot being offside. The French striker was targeted by Inter Milan and Tottenham during the winter transfer window. However, the 33-year-old has revealed now he is committed to his side. He told Talksport: "I am a Chelsea player. Now I need to move on, move forward. I want to give everything for the team and obviously my personal target is to play as much as I can to play the Euros for my country. It is massive for me. Things like that [January], now I am 100 per cent focused on Chelsea's target and I want to keep fighting, come back on the scoresheet and the teamsheets and every single game is a big opportunity for me to show my desire to come back in the game."
