Olivier Giroud drops fresh hint over Chelsea future as January transfer window opens

Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud has spoken out on his future as the January Transfer Opened today, January 2nd. The 34-year-old hasn't been a regular starter during this season, however, he has been impressive during this season. Giroud has made overall 15 appearances in which he has scored 9 goals. His contract with the Blues expires at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move away with West Ham having expressed an interest in signing him. Speaking to Sky Sports , the forward said: “Obviously, I am very happy with these numbers. I am the happiest man when I am on the pitch. “We will see what happens in the next few months but I just want to keep my efficiency high. When I am not on the pitch, I just try to be a part of the team. “I really want the best for this team and I really believe we have a big opportunity to win something at Chelsea with this great squad.
