Ole Gunnar Solskjaer threatened to sell half of Manchester United squad

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer branded his players a ‘disgrace’ and threatened to sell half of his squad following the 2-0 defeat to Cardiff City in the final Premier League game. United finished sixth in the league with only two wins in 12 matches in all competitions. According to The Sun, The Norwegian was so incensed with his first-team players that he informed some of them that they have no future at the club. Paul Pogba was involved in an exchange of words with a supporter following the weekend defeat to Cardiff, while Alexis Sanchez apologised to fans on social media. United's players are due to report back for pre-season training in early July.
