Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaks on Victor Lindelof's new role at Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feels Victor Lindelof is developing his role becoming a leader at the squad. The 25-year-old has started in every league game this season. He has scored last weekend against Aston Villa and has shown an impressive performance during 2 - 1 win over Tottenham when neutering forward like Harry Kane. Previously he played against Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo and PSG's Kylian Mbappe as well. Speaking on Lindelof's improvement, Solskjaer told: "He’s been proving critics wrong. You’ll always have critics at Man United. If you score two, you should've scored three, if you win 3-0, you should've been winning 4-0. Victor's so calm and composed on the ball and that's part of our play, with him and Harry [Maguire], they're so important in the build-up, that we take some risks. Maybe the goal we conceded could have been avoided, that pass into Scotty that got nicked. But Victor scored a goal last week, he's becoming a leader in the group and playing more or less every single game, so I'm very pleased with him." United are sitting on the 6th place of the Premier League table having 21 points after their last win over the Spurs.
