Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaks out on Mauricio Pochettino amid Man Utd links

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken about the work Mauricio Pochettino has done at Tottenham ahead of their match with Spurs. Following Jose Mourinho’s sacking from Manchester United, Mauricio Pochettino has been heavily linked with the job at Old Trafford but it didn’t stop permanent manager Solskjaer to praise him. Solskjaer is not believed to be in the frame for the job despite winning all his matches since taking over as caretaker boss, though he understands why Pochettino is the favourite. “He’s done a very good job,’ Solskjaer said at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday’s game in London. ‘The speculation is there for a reason because he’s done well but it’s not my job to rate different managers. My focus is on me and my team.’ “No we’ve had tests. Newcastle away was a test, the first game how everyone reacted away to Cardiff was a test, the second game, how the crowd would affect is a test," Solskjaer stated.
