Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sends message to Liverpool after Manchester United treble comparisons

Manchester United are preparing to play an away Premier League game against Liverpool today, January 19. Ahead of the game, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked to comment on if Liverpool had to show such dominance over a prolonged period to be considered as one of the Premier League's best ever teams. To which Solskjaer answered: "I think so. You have a point that you have to do it again and again and again and Sir Alex is the only one who’s won it three times…he’s won it a few times in fact. "He had an exceptional way of motivating us and getting us ready. A way of just letting trophies be trophies, win them and move forward. "[Manchester] City have won it twice in a row, it looks like Liverpool are going to win it, but you are still not sure. There are so many games to play. Yes, they have not conceded many points, they have won games towards the end of them, 2-1s 1-0s 3-2s. But they will know they have a couple of difficult games coming up." The Reds are currently leading the Premier League table with 13 points ahead of second placed Manchester City, who have played 2 games more than Liverpool. source - Manchester Evening News
