Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals details of Sir Alex Ferguson’s visit to Manchester United training ground

Manchester United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed details of Sir Alex Ferguson’s visit to the Manchester United training ground. Opening up on his relationship with Ferguson, and why the Scot visited United's Carrington base last week, Solskjaer said: "Well, [I've spoken with him] in the last week or so but I've had him for 15 years so obviously he's influenced me more in the 15 years before than the last week. "I do keep him informed. He did pay us a visit on Saturday and I think he enjoyed his time at the training ground. We had a nice few chats, with the staff, and he encouraged us. He knows the staff I've got is Manchester United through and through. He knows that we are going to do whatever we can up to the last second we're here. We'll do everything we can for us and have Manchester United do as best as we can."
