Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on five United players following the Red Devils win over West Ham on Sunday. United beat the Hammers with a 1-0 score as Craig Dawson scored an own goal.
After the win, Solskjaer's side will be preparing to face AC Milan in the Europa League last-16 second leg. The first game between the teams ended in a 1-1 draw.
Following the win, the United boss said: "We hope, we actually hope all five of them will be back.
“David [De Gea] hopefully, Donny [van de Beek], Edinson [Cavani], Paul [Pogba] maybe, and Anthony [Martial] is very likely to be back. So a stronger squad to travel to Italy with.”
De Gea missed several United games due to the birth of his child. While Van De Beek has been absent due to a muscle problem. Pogba has been missing from the squad due to a hamstring injury.
Cavani has been out with a knock and Martial was forced off at half-time in the first leg against Milan.
