Manchester United are preparing to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on March 3rd. Ahead of the game, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an update on Edinson Cavani.
Cavani has missed the Red Devils' latest two league games and both Europa League fixtures against Real Sociedad due to a muscle injury.
Speaking on Cavani, during a press conference, Solskjaer said: “Edi has trained this morning and hopefully there is no reaction.
“There are another couple of knocks that we have to look at, from after the [Chelsea] game, and from the season’s wear and tear.”
“We’ve had a light training session and we’re looking ok. A couple of doubts for tomorrow, Edinson trained which is good. Let’s hope there’s no reaction and hopefully he’ll travel with the squad.”
Solskjaer also provided updates on Paul Pogba and Phil Jones.
“With Phil, he’s working really hard, he’s had a couple of setbacks and it’s the kind of injury where you have to be patient.
“I know all about knee injuries, so I’m not sure... how long is a piece of rope? We’ll give him as much time as we can.
“Paul is not ready for us, no. Feeling better but he has not been training with the team yet, so he’s definitely not travelling down to London.”
