Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provides update on Ashley Young’s transfer to Inter Milan

Ashley Young’s transfer from Manchester United to Inter Milan has been reportedly agreed – for a fee of £1.3million. Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appeared to confirm the transfer. “To be fair, I think it was for Ashley, he’s 35 in the summer and if he gets a two-year contract somewhere I think it’s up to him to take that, we were ready to offer that, he’s been a good servant, captain, won trophies, league cups, but we’ve got players coming through and when Ashley’s head and mindset was on so why not now,” said Solskjaer. Young, who has won 39 England caps, began his career at Watford and joined United from Aston Villa for £17million in June 2011. He made 261 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 19 goals.
