Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes first key change to Manchester United training ground

Manchester United are having a new food station installed at their canteen, according to the Daily Mail. The club has recently made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer permanent manager and he’s already making changes. Solskjaer was unhappy with how long players had to wait for their meals and wanted to introduce a fast-track system in the canteen at Carrington so his players do not have to queue for their lunch with club staff after training. Players will still eat with staff at the training ground because the Norwegian has been keen to create a happier working environment, but he wanted to make sure there is always enough food for the squad. However, Solskjaer is not the first United manager to make changes in the canteen. David Moyes banned chips from the menu. Louis van Gaal replaced the rectangular tables with round ones to encourage conversation at dinner time. Jose Mourinho, on the other hand, changed the framed photographs in the corridor leading to the canteen.
