Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes Champions League declaration after Manchester United win

Manchester United may need just a point to progress to the round of 16 of the Champions League, however, the Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists their aim remains to win the group. United celebrated a 4-1 win over Istambul Basaksehir last night as Bruno Fernandes scored a double and Marcus Rashford and Daniel James also got their names on the scoresheet. "We need one point, but of course we want to be top of the group but we'll take it one game at a time," Solskjaer said. "I felt that in the first-half, you saw straight away, the intent, the boys wanted to play. "They enjoyed it, it’s a Champions League night at home at Old Trafford, you expect them to enjoy themselves. "We created some great chances and very nice goals, very pleased. "When you are 3-0 up and you take your foot off the pedal a little bit, you give them something to play for and they enjoyed the second-half more than the first. "But a 4-1 win in the Champions League, you’re always happy with." source - Express / Join us on Telegram
