Ole Gunnar Solskjaer identify Paul Pogba replacement during injury

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Fred as Paul Pogba replacement for the next games. Pogba has picked up an ankle injury during the 1-1 draw with Southampton on August 31. Since then the 26-year-old missed eight of the last 10 games and is expected to return in December. Fred has played in 6 Premier League games this season and has shown an impressive game during the last three of them. United boss thinks Fred will manage to assume Paul Pogba's role at United for a while. He told: "Fred will probably take Paul’s position for a while now and that’s been brilliant for us... There is no use talking about who is not going to be here for a long, long time, because [Pogba] is not going to come on the pitch and help us until he is fit. Paul’s been brilliant and he is a creative midfielder that we need, but then it is up to the others to step up." United will play against Chelsea in their Carabao Cup on Thursday.   Source: Manchester Evening News
