Manchester United have reportedly identified their first target for January: Kieran Trippier.
The Atletico Madrid full-back has been long linked with a move to the Old Trafford, however, United failed to materialise the deal.
As
Mundo Deportivo claim via Sport Witness, Red Devils launched a €21m bid for Trippier, with Atletico sticking to their valuation throughout.
Head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will make another move for the 30-year-old when the transfer window reopens in January.
The England international's contract with the Spanish champions doesn’t expire until the end of next season, leaving Los Rojiblancos in a strong bargaining position.
