Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives fresh verdict on Manchester United top four hopes

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reiterated his belief that Manchester United will finish in the top four. United have been battling all season with Chelsea for Champions League qualification. They face a vital game against West Ham on Wednesday and could move into third position if Chelsea drop points at champions Liverpool. United were handed a favour by their former boss Jose Mourinho earlier on Sunday as Tottenham beat Leicester 3-0 to dent the Foxes' hopes of Champions League qualification. Solskjaer spoke to MUTV after the Chelsea defeat and gave a rallying cry ahead of another vital week of fixtures. “We’ve been great in the last few months, giving ourselves a chance going into the last two games," said the United boss. “We always said that if we can get into the Leicester game needing to beat them, that would be a great achievement and we might be able to even go one step further than that if we get a good result against West Ham.” On other sides dropping points, Solskjaer added: “Of course we can’t do anything about that but it’s between us, Chelsea and Leicester for those two last positions and the more help we get from others the better, of course. But if we do our job on Wednesday we’ll be in a good position. We’ll go into the Leicester game and hope that if we win that one we can qualify. We’ve just got to regroup and go again on Wednesday against West Ham.” Source:  MEN
