Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explains why he previously signed Mathias Normann

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained why he previously signed Mathias Normann, who is in target for the January transfer window. Rostov midfielder has been the player of Brighton previously, having no single appearance for them. Solskjaer signed the 23-year-old for his old side Molde in 2017. The Norwegian midfielder has won September's Player of the Month award in the Russian Premier League and now is on the list of the players United boss would like to sign. Rostov has valued the player £20million, which made the Red Devils concentrate on him, according to Goal. When Solskjaer was talking about Normann's loanee period at Molde, he told: "We are very pleased to bring in Mathias for the rest of the season.” United are facing an unfortunate season in the Premier League, standing on 12th position of the league table close to the relegation zone.
