Ole Gunnar Solskjaer explains dropping Donny van de Beek for PSG clash

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken out on his team selection for the Champions League game against PSG. Solskjaer benched the United newcomer Donny van de Beek for the game. In goal, the United manager started David de Gea, despite the Spain international limping out of the 3-2 victory over Southampton on Sunday. Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Alex Telles started in defense. Fred, Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes formed the midfield, while Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani and Anthony Martial started in attack. Speaking ahead of the game, Solskjaer told MUTV: ”We know we're playing against a good team. “We thought [we'd field] some fresh legs out there, with Scott [McTominay] - he's just got back from injury. “Anthony [Martial] was supposed to play against Southampton. He's looking sharp again." The Red Devils went on to lose the game with a 3-1 score and are currently 2nd in their Champions League group with the same amount of points as PSG, who are leading the group. source - Express / Join us on Telegram
