OFFICIAL: Rangers confirm Castore kit deal

Rangers have officially announced their kit sponsorship deal with Castore, which will last five-years, according to Footy Headlines. Financial details of the deal were not provided. However, reports had suggested that it would be worth £20 million over the initial five-year period or £4 million per season. Castore won the race to sign a deal competing with Puma and Macron. Castore has announced that they chose Rangers as a key part of their roster as they look to add 3-5 other 'major clubs across Europe' over the next one-and-a-half years. Rangers manager Steven Gerrard said: “This is a significant moment for our football club. The Beahon brothers, like myself, are proud of our Liverpudlian roots. Liverpool and Glasgow are proud cities. In both cities, the city makes the football club, and the football club makes the city.” While Tom Beahon, Castore Co-Founder, commented: “In our search for our first elite club, nobody came close to matching Rangers. We cannot wait to be part of the next chapter of success for this prestigious football club. Rangers is an institution and the world’s most successful football club."
