Nuno Espirito Santo has provided an injury update on Steven Bergwijn ahead of Wolves clash.
The 23-year-old recovered from a problem he picked up on international duty only to be withdrawn through injury in the Europa Conference League match days later.
And on Wednesday Spurs are set to face Wolves in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Ahead of the match head coach Nuno said:
“He has an injury on his foot, a sprain, he twisted his ankle.
“It’s very, very painful and the decision was to protect his foot and at the same time keep doing upper body workouts and try to maintain as fit as possible.
“But the injury needs to settle down and prevent him from feeling pain. It’s very painful now.”
