Nuno Espirito Santo on Son Heungmin's injury, Emerson Royal and Tanguy Ndombele situation

Nuno Espirito Santo is currently giving his word in pre-match press conference. The Tottenham Hotspur manager has been asked plenty of questions about the squad and injured players. Nuno has firstly spoken about Son Heungmin's injury, suffered during international duty.

"Like some of our players came with issues. Sonny is not so well. Let's wait for the club to make the announcement."

To the question whether his injury is long-term or short-term, he responded.

"I don't know. Let's wait and see. The doctors will make the analysis."

The Spurs boss outlined Tanguy Ndombele's situation, who is now expected to be reintegrated back into the squad now the transfer window has closed.

"We're going to assess now all the situations inside the squad tomorrow but Tanguy is here, he's our player, let's try to make the best of him."

 

"We speak with all the players, we speak with them, it's natural. It is part of our work, it is the way we work, dialogue is the main thing for us."

Questions asked on Emerson Royal were quite lots too. Nuno responded.

"He's very talented. We bring him because we believe he can help us. He is an offensive full-back and we know he has things to improve."
