Nuno Espirito Santo makes Tanguy Ndombele claim and reveals frustration after Wolves win

Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito has talked about Tanguy Ndombele and revealed his frustration after Tottenham beat Wolves in Carabao Cup on Wednesday. Spurs picked up a 2-3 penalty shootout win over Wolves on Wednesday followed by a 2-2 draw. Ndombele, Harry Kane and Leander Dendoncker, Daniel Podence all marked their names on the scoresheet to head into the penalty shootouts. Kane, Sergio Reguilon, and Bryan Gil all netted perfect penalties, while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg missed, however, Spurs managed to win and qualify for the next round. After the game Nuno was asked about Ndombele's performance, who played 90 minutes, to which he replied:
"Let's try to avoid as much as we can individual analysis. We will do it and we will do it amongst ourselves and I think we have to be patient with Tanguy because all that happened in pre-season and this is his third game and already we've had however many games we've played so far.   "So let's be patient with all our players and patient with the time that they need to get to the level that I truly believe their talent can allow."
Nuno was also asked whether it was frustrating not to able to win having to play Harry Kane for 90 minutes and having to bring on Son Heung-min and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
"The only frustration that was there was exactly what you started to say," Spurs boss said. "In the first half we had many many situations to put the game to bed.   "Many, many. The way we recovered the ball, the chances that we created. We speak about four or five clear chances to score goals. That's the only frustration we have.   "The rest is managing the game and what I said to you in the press conference we mentioned, we have to use the competition to prepare ourselves and get better.   "So as much time as the players are on the pitch together working the better for us."
